Loss of open land has been identified as the greatest threat to the future of all equestrian sport, recreation, and industry. By educating horse people and encouraging partnerships with conservationists and other user groups at the local level the Equestrian Land Conservation Resource is mobilizing thousands of equestrians to work for land access and protection in their communities. Breyer believes that without such concerted efforts, the equestrian world as we know it is at great risk which is why we at Breyer are partnering with the ELCR again this year. A percentage of the sale of every Breyer ELCR horse will be used to help equestrian organizations conserve open land. Groups interested in this opportunity are invited to apply to be a beneficiary of the Breyer ELCR funds via an application included in every ELCR model box.
